We are seeking a highly-motivated, intelligent and passionate Senior Recruiter, who will play a fundamental role in the growth of the company by bringing forth new and innovative ideas to develop and enrich our existing recruiting process.  Recruiting is a core strategic driver of Cryptic Studios success. In this role you will be entrusted to use your creativity, problem solving and analytical skills to find and qualify candidates for our Studio. You will work consultatively with our hiring team to develop strategies to identify the best talent.

What you will be doing

  • Conducting all aspects of full life cycle recruitment for game industry specific position
  • Proactively sourcing and building a network of passive candidates while maintaining long-term relationships with them
  • Using your expertise and innovative recruiting techniques to actively and creatively network, evaluate, and ultimately hire top talent
  • Leveraging social media, existing employees and professional networks to increase the pool of potential candidates
  • Ensuring an outstanding experience for candidates from initial outreach/applicant stage to offer
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with hiring managers and proactively report pipeline activity to facilitate hiring decisions
  • Proactively researching and being aware of current industry events, trends
  • Attending recruitment events to establish presence, and strengthen our employment brand
  • Acting as an internally and externally-facing representative of Cryptic Studios team
  • Mentoring junior recruiter

What we would like to see

  • BA/BS degree preferred
  • Minimum 5+ years of full-cycle corporate recruiting experience
  • Demonstrated passion for creative/technical recruiting
  • Proven track record of successfully identifying and hiring exceptional candidates in high hiring bar environment
  • Hands-on experience with ATS (familiarity with Lever is a plus)
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
  • Superior communication skills (verbal and written) with relentless drive to find the best talent *The ability to juggle several high-priority tasks and to manage workload in a constantly changing environment
